Where we get personal information from

We get your personal information directly from you.

How long we keep information

In accordance with UK GDPR principles, we retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. If you request deletion of your data, we will promptly remove all your personal information from our systems, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.

For the purposes of this policy, a user is considered ‘inactive’ if they have not logged into our services, opened our email communications, or submitted any forms on our website for 12 consecutive months. Before deleting any data from inactive accounts, we will send a notification to your registered email address giving you 30 days to reactivate your account or confirm you wish to remain subscribed to our communications.

For inactive blog subscribers and newsletter recipients, we will delete your personal data after the 12-month inactivity period and notification process. For clients and customers who have engaged our professional services, we will retain your data for up to 6 years following the end of our working relationship, as required by HMRC for accounting, tax reporting, and auditing purposes. After this period, all personal data will be securely deleted unless you have provided ongoing consent for us to retain it for marketing purposes.

You have the right under UK GDPR to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond to all requests within one month.
